Carey Development Group is committed to making our website accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We believe the same care we bring to preserving Cape Cod’s landmarks should extend to how welcoming our website is to every visitor.
Our Goal
We aim to conform, where reasonably possible, to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA — the widely recognized standard for making web content more perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust.
What We’re Doing
To support accessibility, we work toward:
• Clear, readable text and sufficient colour contrast
• Descriptive alternative text for meaningful images
• Navigation that works with a keyboard
• A layout that adapts to phones, tablets, and desktops
Known Limitations
We are continually improving the Site, and some content may not yet be fully accessible — for example, certain third-party features such as the embedded church virtual tour, external press articles, or partner links on “Shop Our Style” are outside our direct control. We are working to address gaps as we find them.
